Installation and Licensing

Discount Plugin is distributed as a Shopify app. To get started, install it from the Shopify App Store (or your approved install link) into an active Shopify store where you have permission to add apps.

During installation, Shopify will ask you to authorize the permissions the app needs to operate. These include access required to configure discounts, read product and order data for campaign logic, and support storefront features. A full list of scopes and why we request them is documented in our Privacy Policy.

After you approve installation, the app opens inside your Shopify admin. You can begin creating and managing discount campaigns from the embedded app interface. No separate server setup or manual deployment is required on your side.

If you uninstall the app, Shopify ends the app’s access to your store. We remove installation-related session and onboarding data and clear linked Shopify discount identifiers from campaign records, as described in our Privacy Policy (Section 6).

Upgrades are handled in-app via Shopify’s billing flow. Charges appear on your Shopify bill; we do not add a separate markup on Shopify’s platform fees.

To change or cancel a paid subscription, use Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels, select Discount Plugin, and manage your subscription there. If you downgrade from Pro, campaign limits on the free plan apply again (including limits on creating or publishing additional campaigns beyond the free tier).

Pricing and plan names may be updated from time to time; the App Store listing and in-app billing screens reflect the current offer at the time you subscribe.
